We (2 x adults and 2 x 7 yo's) will be in Japan a total of 11 days. Our itinerary is per below. Is it worth getting the JR pass for part of all of this trip? If not are there any other passes we should consider?
Day 1: Narita T2- Tokyo
Day 2-4: sightseeing within Tokyo
Day 4: Tokyo- Iiyama
Day 11: Iiyama- Narita T2

Hi there,
The most expensive route is your trip is Tokyo - Iiayama at ¥ 8,430. This would not be enough for a JR Pass to help you make savings. Right now I would just buy normal rail tickets when traveling.
