Hi, this will be our first time to Japan. I'm planning to buy the JR pass for 7 days. The following will be my itinerary. Can u pls advise when is the best possible dates to use the pass? Is it going to be worth the purchase of the pass for the following itinerary? If its yes, by when should I purchase the pass?
Day 1 : 27th Nov 2023 - Arrive Osaka (Kansai) - Either take a taxi or bus from airport to hotel.
Day 2 : 28th Nov 2023 - Osaka: Universal studio Japan- take a train
Day 3 : 29th Nov 2023 - Osaka: Kyoto/Nara Day Tour - planning to purchase a package
Day 4 : 30th Nov 2023 - Osaka: Hiroshima & Miyajmar (2 ways) * This will be the day I'm planning to activate the jr pass. Pls kindly advise if its the best option?
Day 5 : 1st Dec 2023 - Osaka: Free & Easy
Day 6 : 2nd Dec 2023 - Osaka to Tokyo
Day 7 : 3rd Dec 2023 - Tokyo: Mt Fuji & Lake Kawaguchi
Day 8 : 4th Dec 2023 - Tokyo: Free & Easy
Day 9 : 5th Dec 2023 - Tokyo: Disneyland
Day 10 : 6th Dec 2023 - Tokyo Disneysea (so, technically this will be the last day of the 7day jr pass)
Day 11 : 7th Dec 2023 - Tokyo: to Narita Airport (either taxi or bus)
