Hi,
This is my plan for my 14 days trip:
day 1 - Arrived at Kansai Osaka airport at late night.
day 2 - Koya-san
day 3 and 4 - Osaka Namba
day 5 - Hiroshima
day 6,7,8 - Kyoto
day 9 - Hakone
day 10 - Kamakura (or staying at Tokyo)
day 11-13 - Tokyo (Disneyland, Ueno museums, sumo)
day 14-fly out Japan from Narita

I wonder if it's more cost efficient if I just buy the 7 days one from day 5 to day 12? as some lines are private trips such as limousine from and to airports. Please advise.

thank you very muchly,
Eva

Hi Eva,

I think a 7 day JR Pass would indeed be the best option from day 5 - 12. Outside of this period, you would not do enough travel for the 14 day JR Pass to be effective.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank you Daniel-san. I was just worried that the small trips would amount more to the cost than buying the 14 days. However the JR pass does not cover all right. I am still trying to understand the all the maps and the transports. Thanks again.

The prices of the pass is in US dollar or which dollar?

kind regards,
eva
