I just wanted to ask which is better to book the 7 day or 14 day pass, here is the itinerary:
June 22 arrival in Osaka
June 23 Stay in Osaka
June 24 Travel to Tokyo, stay until June 27
June 28 Travel to Nagoya
June 29 Travel to Nagano
July 1 Travel to Tokyo, stay until july 3
July 3. Travel to Narita

For your itinerary it is likely to be more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually. However, the 14-day JR Pass will cover all of your itinerary and so it is still an option worth looking into if you feel that a pass is better suited for you.
