What pass would my husband and I need if we are spending 3 nights in Tokyo, then 1 night in Hakone, followed by 3 nights in Kyoto, a night in Osaka, travelling back to Tokyo?

Hi there,

If you're planning on using the Shinkansen bullet train lines, a JR Pass may be useful as it covers all of your itinerary. Please note that Hakone is not directly accessible with the JR Pass, meaning you'll have to purchase a regular rail ticket to get there from Odakyu. For more information on getting to Hakone with your JR Pass, click here.

Hope this helps!
