We're (2 persons) going to Japan 4th of march to 18th of march.
We've been looking into JR Passes for 14 days, but in order to save money we've been looking into regional passes. Can you help to see if this is doable?
Our itinerary is:
04.03 - Tokyo, arrive early at Haneda
05.03 - Tokyo,
06.03 - Tokyo
07.03 - Tokyo - daytrip nikko
08.03 - travel to Kanazawa,
09.03 - Kanazawa, daytrip to Takayama+shirakawa go
10.03 - travel to kyoto
11.03 - Kyoto
12.03 - Kyoto daytrip Osaka
13.03 - Kyoto daytrip Nara
14.03 - Hiroshima
15.03 - Hiroshima daytrip Miyajama
16.03 -travelday from hiroshima to tokyo - Himeji castle, Nagoya, mt Fuji
17.03 - buffer day, in tokyo
18.03 - Flight from Haneda early
I've been looking into:
04.03 single ticket Haneda to Tokyo
04.03-06.03 = Metro card Tokyo
07.03 = Singel ticket to nikko
07.03-13.03 = Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass - 7 days (+osaka metro)
13.03-17.03 = Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass - 5 days
17.03 travel to osaka with kansai pass and from osaka buy single ticket to Haneda area.
Is my calculation for our passes and itinerary correct or did I miss something?
