We are 5 adults travelling to Japan shortly. Itinerary as follows.
Osaka 31st Dec - 3rd Jan
Train Osaka to Kanazawa
Kanazawa 3rd - 5th Jan
Train Kanazawa to Nagano
Skiing 5th - 12th Jan
Train from Nagano to Tokyo
So, we have 3 train journeys over 10 days. I am just wondering if it would be better to get a 7 day Regional pass (specifically, the Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Pass) and then a single ticket from Nagano to Tokyo. Do you have any suggestions.

Hi Cher,
The Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass is a great option for your travel from 31 December to 6 January. In Osaka, you can also use it for the JR Osaka Loop Line.
As you mentioned, you can then purchase individual tickets for your journey from Nagano to Tokyo.
