Hello,
I’m planning on a trip with Kyoto as the base (I found a better deal Hotel in Kyoto rather in Osaka). My route will be: Kyoto - Kokura - Beppu - Hakata - Kyoto.
My question is, will the pass I chose cover the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen (Nozomi) from Kyoto to Kokura, as well as back to Kyoto from Hakata?
I’m not sure whether I interpret the coverage map correctly, but from what I’ve seen, the Sanyo Shinkansen seem to only cover from Shin-Osaka, and there is also the exception mentioning that the Tokaido Shinkansen from Kyoto - Shin Osaka is not covered.
I’ll be thankful if someone can help answer my questions. And I really hope that the pass does actually cover the trip from Kyoto to my designated stops. Thank you so much!
