Dear Experts,
we are planning to travel with JR Kyushu North Pass, starting from Nagasaki Airport.
According to the lists of places to exchange there is ni option at the airport or at Omura station.
However, that means we cannot use the pass for the ride from Omura station to Nagasaki station ?
Is it possible to exchange the JR Kyushu Pass already at Haneda airport ?

Have a look at the JR Kyushu Pass page here we list all the exchange stations, with a map as well. There is no exchange point at Nagasaki station, the closest would be at Nagasaki station.
You'd have to pay for transport to Nagasaki station, before activating the pass.

I was afraid that the answer is like this.
Jr Kyushu should enable tourists to receive there passes when they enter Kyushu. I guess, travelling with the voucher and arguing that there was no way to exchange it yet will not work ?

Hi Stefan,
You can always buy a JR ticket and request a refund for it when you exchange the pass.
I can not say if this will be honored (or not), but it is worth a try.
