i am going from Iganeno to Osaka. but this pass I cannot stop at Kyoto.
so when I use hyperpedia, my first leg is Igauneno to Nara, then Nara to Osaka.
1) but I will pass by Kamo(Kyoto). will I be penalized ?
2) at Kamo, do I have to change platform to continue to Nara?
3) this pass states I cam make reservation up to 4 trains. what does this mean ? means 4 times ?
please advice

1.) It should be okay, as long as you do not exit any station during this trip.
2.) You do indeed change trains here.
3.) It means you can make free seat reservations for ltd. express trains, up to 4 times.
