Hi,
I'm looking into buying a Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass and will be using it during Golden Week so would like to reserve seats ASAP. I don't think I can reserve seats online in advance but can I go to a JR office in Tokyo (as that's where I arrive into Japan) to reserve seats or do I have to wait until I'm in the area (i.e. Kyoto).

Hi there,
You can reserve seats once you arrive in Japan at any JR Train Station ticket office (Midori-no-madoguchi) or ticket machine. However, it will be extremely busy during Golden Week, so I recommend making your seat reservations as soon as you can.
