I am planning a trip to Nagasaki from Hakata on Febreuary 25, 2024. When I enter Sanyo-Sanin Northern Kyushu Pass in the Navitime App, I get results which show it will take more than 3 hours to get there whereas if I enter Northern Kyushu Pass, I get results that show 1.5 hours only. When I purchased the Sanyo-Sanin Northern Kyushu Pass I assumed it will provide the same travel options as the Northern Kyushu Pass as far as travel in Kyushu is concerned. Am I mistaken?

Hi there,
Not sure why this is the case, as they both cover the same network of JR Kyushu trains, so I assume there must be some kind of mistake. I would suggest perhaps entering the trip into google maps, to see possible routes.
More info on purchasing the Northern Kyushu/Sanyo-Sanin Pass can be found here.
Hope this helps!
