Hi Daniel,

Will like to seek your advice on the following:

  1. Is it recommended for us to purchase a 7-day pass based on our itinerary? If not, what are the individual train ticket costs and duration like?

  2. Narita Airport to Osaka (Namba)

  3. Osaka to Kyoto (round trip)
  4. Osaka to Mishima

  5. How should we transfer from Narita airport to the Shinkansen to Osaka?

  6. Are the local metros covered under the JR pass? Hence, if we are traveling in Osaka and Tokyo, will we still need to purchase the Icoca?

2.) You can use the Narita Express from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station, then the
You can use the JR Pass on local JR lines in Tokyo and Osaka. However, other transport like the Tokyo Metro is not included, a card like Suica or ICOCA will make it much easier to travel on these.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
