Plan to visit Kanazawa - Takayama -Nagoya from Osaka on 13 June for 7 days, wish to check whether the Takayama Hokuriku Area Pass cover the route from Takayama to Nagoya or not and is there express direct train from Nagoya to Osaka, appreciate if you could also suggest other suitable pass for the above destination.

This is correct, this pass is exactly meant as a discounted ticket to visit the Takayama area. So Takayama to Nagoya is covered but Nagoya to Osaka directly is not - however you can go to Osaka through the Hokuriku Arch (via Kanazawa) route.
This is the one pass that makes sense for your trip, but look at how much normal tickets would cost first.
