Hi
We have 15 days in Japan coming up which we’ll spend mostly in Western Honshu (Kyoto, Kinosaki-Onsen, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Naoshima, Osaka). However we fly in and out of Tokyo. So I was wondering if it made sense to get 2 regional Kansai-Hiroshima passes and then buy the Tokyo to Kyoto and return separately? That seems more cost effective than a 21 day JR Pass.
Thanks

Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. Yes, that would be more cost effective than a 21-day JR Pass, but I believe a 14-day JR Pass may also be an option worth considering if you can fit your train journeys within a continuous 14-day period.
Hope this helps!
