Hello,
If we want to travel around Tokyo, then to Osaka for day trips to Kyoto and Hiroshima, then from Osaka to Gunma, then Gunma back to Tokyo; is an all inclusive JRPass best or a regional JR Pass? If regional, which one would you advise?

Thank you in advance!!

Hi there,

I would suggest purchasing a JR Pass if you are able to fit most of your major train journeys in a 7-day period. Otherwise, purchasing your tickets individually is likely the most cost-effective option.

Your itinerary is covered entirely by the JR Pass anyway, so if you feel that you are better suited for a pass despite being in Japan for a longer period of time it is still a great option!

Kind regards,

Alexis
