Dear Daniel,
Would like to get your opinion whether to buy 7 days pass or 14 days pass if my itinerary is as below: 1. Tokyo - 2 days
2. Aizu-Wakamatsu - 1 day
3. Oishida - 2 days
4. Akita - 1 day
5. Aomori - 2 days
6. Sendai - 2 days
7. Tokyo - 3 days

Hi there,

I think you could get away with using a 7-day JR Pass + one way ticket, Sendai to Tokyo. On these route there are also local train options or express bus options, that will cost less than a Shinkansen ticket.

Looks like a fun trip exploring Tohoku. I can also recommend Yamadera & Matsushima (near Sendai) if you have the time.

Kind regards,
Daniel
