Hi, my son and I will be travelling to Japan in April. Was wondering what rail pass we should get. Flying into Tokyo.
Days 1-4. Tokyo
Days 5-6. Hakone (taking Romance train)
Days 7 Nagoya
Days 8-13. Kyoto (day trips also)
Day 14. Nara
Days 15-19. Osaka (day trips also)
Days 20 -21. Back to Tokyo
Hi there,
I checked, but could not find a matching rail pass for you. This was mainly due to the long stay in the Kansai Area, as travel between these cities (Kyoto, Nara, Osaka) is low cost and a JR Pass is better used for longer distances.
As such, I suggest just buying the tickets as you travel.
