my girl friend and I will fly from Taipei to Osaka on Dec.01 . we stay 1 night in osaka and on Dec.02 we go to Kyoto and stay in kyoto from Dec02 to 04. we leave for Kyoto on Dec 04 to Tokyo on shingansen and stay there until 07. then fly from Narita airport back to Taipei .
total 7 days .
Would you recommend us buy 7-day Japan rail passes is the best deal ? or I buy individual tickets?

For this route, it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets!
We recommend a 7-day JR Pass, for those that make at least a return trip Tokyo - Kyoto using the Shinkansen trains.
