Hi,

Myself, my partner and our 16 month old boy will be flying into Haneda Airport on 23rd of July at 5:30am. we will be traveling straight to Kyoto and beginning our 12 day holiday from there. We have purchased our 7 day JR passes which is sufficient for our traveling needs as we will be based in Tokyo before passes expire.

Q1: Is there a JR pass desk at Haneda Airport, if so what time does it open.

Q2: Can I activate my JR pass at Haneda airport or do I need to do this prior to arrival.

Q3: Does JR pass 7 day period start from day of my first trip or do I need to advise on start date. (when I bought tickets I entered date 22.07.19 but actually need 7 day period to start on 23.07.19)

Thank you for any advise on this.

Hi there,

1.) The JR office at Haneda opens at 7.45

2.) Yes

3.) You can select a starting date when activating the JR Pass, this will be your first day of use.
