His Date of Birth is 16/03/2012 and date of travel 20/04/2024
I am booking his JR Pass under Adult Category
JR Pass website is asking to book in Child Category
How should i purchase the JR Pass
Back to Using the Japan Rail Pass
CURRENT CHILD AGE 11 years but will be using JR PASS when his AGE is 12 years

Hi there,
You should purchase under the child category: the age that matters is the age he is at the date of purchase.
