Do I have to activate my JRPASS right away when I enter Japan?

Hi there,
I'm traveling to Japan for the first time in August and I'm going for three weeks. I would like to get a 7 day pass but I don't want to use it until my last week in Japan. Will that still be possible? Where do I go about activating it?

Hi there,

You can activate the Pass at any moment you want in Japan. There's no need to do so right away when you get to Japan.
