Do I need a JR Pass for my Itinerary?

Hi there,

Rail travel between the cities you plan to visit are covered please note that some parts which can only be reached by bus like Shirakawago and Kamikochi, these can not be reached using the JR Pass.

All the other cities can be reached and you can use the bullet trains where available.

Thank you for your reply.
As we plan to spend a night in Hotel Tateyama (in Murodo), we intend to use Baggage Forwarding Service to forward our bigger luggage from Nagano side to Toyama side. We will only bring a small back-pack each, up the Kurobe Alpine Route for the overnight stay at Hotel Tateyama.
As such, can you advise us what is the best way to forward our luggage?
From Nagano Station or from Shinano Omachi Station?
Where is a good luggage receiving point?
At Toyama Station ? or at one of the appointed luggage receiving Hotels?
Can you tell us which HOTELS IN TOYAMA have this service of receiving the forwarded luggage? I can't find this information.
