Hello,
We are going to Japan for 5,5 weeks and we are making an itinerary now.
I see in the itinerary a price in 3 parts, an ticket fare, an express surcharge and seat reservation.
If we have the JR pass and we go on a limited express train are all charges including in the JR Pass?
Or do we have to pay an express surcharge ?
Do we have to pay extra for the seat reservation?
Thank you,
Inge

Hi there,
The JR Pass covers all fees for Shinkansen and Ltd. express trains, so you can travel for free. Just be aware that Nozomi/Mizuho services are not included.
Seat reservations are also free of charge.
Kind regards,
Daniel
