Travelling from Hakone on the 16th May to Tokyo. When I get to Tokyo I need to travel to Asakusa to our hotel. Does my JR pass cover this trip.

Hi there,

Asakusa does not really had it's own JR station (the closest is Asakusa Bashi but that's still 20min walk).

Instead I recommend using your JR Pass to travel to Ueno station, then use the Tokyo Metro Ginza line to travel to Asakusa (just 2 stops 180yen).

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank You but I feel I been a bit duped purchasing the JR rail pass and still have to pay for a train to travel to my closest station in Tokyo.
