I will arrive in Japan in the afternoon of Apr 29th and will leave in the afternoon of May 6th. If I buy a JR pass starting on April 29th, can I use the 7-day JR pass in the morning of May 6th?

Hi there,

The JR Pass is counted in full days and the first day is counted as a full day, no matter what time you start using the Pass.

Per example, starting the JR Pass on a Monday would mean that the last day of usage is the following Sunday.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
