Is it better to get a 7-day JR Pass ?

Hi Daniel-san
My husband and I are traveling from the USA to Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo and the trip is 7 nights and 8 days. Is the 7-day JR pass the most economical way for us to travel?

When looking at speed, comfort and budget, then a 7 day JR Pass would give you good value for money on this trip. Travel between all the cities you want to visit is included, as well as local travel on the urban JR Network in Tokyo, Osaka and to a limited extend in Kyoto. In addition to travel from the airport.
