Hi, I’ve booked JR rail pass (all area), green version for the trip Hokkaido-Tokyo and it is possible to book the seat in advance, so I go to the website https://www.eki-net.com/pc/jreast-shinkansen-reservation/English/wb/JRTicket/SeatReservation/Guide.aspx to make a reservation.
But when I searched the route I want to go it showed that there were no green car seat available. At first I would like to book the ordinary seat to make sure I will have a seat. However I wonder that if it’s possible to get a green car seat when I go to reserve at the counter the day before I travel or I should book the ordinary one?
I’ve read the rule of reservation seat on the website and it says we can cancel the reservation 2 days prior to the trip so I wonder if there how possible that I can get the seat that is cancelled one?
p.s. the route I want to reserve is Sapporo-Hakodate on 19th Jan, 8.39 am
