Hi there!
Here’s our itinerary for 7 days in Japan:
Arrival: Saturday in Tokyo
Wednesday: Mt Fuji
Thursday: Kyoto
Friday-Sunday: Tokyo

Can we maximize the use of 7-day JR pass in these cities? Can you suggest attractions to see in these areas covered by JR pass?

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks,
Chikababes

Hello there,

You can reach most of Tokyo using the JR Pass, including places like Tokyo station, Harajuku, Shibuya, Ueno and much more. You can also make day trips to places like Kamakura, Nikko and Yokohama.

In Kyoto you can reach Fushimi Inari, Todaji, Arashiyama and Uji with the JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
