Japan Rail Pass Activation

Hello,

My friend and I are traveling to Japan on November 11th. However, I arrived 1st in the morning and she arrives at night. I understand that Japan Railpass needs activation. Possible for me to activate both our Rail Pass? What document I can present to activate hers before her arrival?

Hi Rico,

For each passenger, you will have to bring their passport + tourism visa.
