What are the down side if I buy General class JR Pass than First class? do all the trains have First class?

Hi there,
The main difference between normal and Green Class is comfort and quiet. Seats have more space and overall a lot less people travel Green Class. Those who do also prefer the quiet.
Most Shinkansen and express trains have Green Class. Local trains such as within Tokyo don't have Green Class most of the time.
