Hi, I'm planning to buy JR pass for 7 Days, and plan to activate it on 30 December. I arrived on Japan from 11 December. If buy the pass from September 2023, is it still possible to activate it? or should i change the activation to 28 December? because of 90 Days Range?

Hi there,
Yes, you have 3 months to activate the pass, and you can select a starting date up to 30 days later when making the exchange in Japan.
That means, if you order your pass on/after September 12th and then exchange it with the 3 months, then you can start travel on the 28th.

Then if I buy the pass on 25 Sept '23, then Exchange it on 20 Dec '23, I can activate it from 31 Dec '23 - 6 Jan '24 ?
