JR Pass between certain areas

Hi everyone!

I will be having the JR pass for 14 days during my 19 days stay in Japan and I need to know if my JR cover the following using Shinkansen, or any other alternatives ( as I need minimal wasted time during transportation):

Yokohama - Hamamatsu
Hamamatsu - Osaka

2) During my 19 days trip to Japan, I will be visiting as the following cities in that order ( Yokohama - Hamamatsu - Osaka - Kyoto - Kobe - Hiroshima - Tokyo ). Do you think that order is the best to have minimal time wasted in transportation?

Hi there,

This JR Pass cover Shinkansen travel between all the cities you plan to visit and will also help you make good savings compared to buying normal tickets. The only part takes a little longer is the route Hiroshima - Tokyo, as the Nozomi train is not covered but you can use the Hikari/Sakura Shinkansen instead.
