JR Pass Question - From Narita to Osaka

Hello All,

I will be flying to Tokyo with my family in late May. This is our first time here and there are a vast majority of resource available. I am a bit confuse on where to start. We are staying in Japan for 12 days. We will arrive at Narita on 5/23 @ 3PM.

If I activated my 7 days JR pass on 5/23 at Narita International Airport, is this enough time for me to take the bullet train to Osaka on the same day? If possible, can you please provide me with what I need to do if I to take the train right away from Narita to Osaka?
