Hi,

I will be travelling with 2 kids each 5yrs old and 1yr old, does they require to purchase a JRP?

if not require, would they giving a seat while on board? or they are need to seat on the adults leg?

Hi,
I'm planning to travel to Japan in Jan'19 for 10days and the itinerary includes Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, noted the JRP is only valid for 7days from the day of activate. If I stay in Tokyo for 3 nights (will going to Disneyland, Disney Sea and Mt fuji) and thrreafter travel to Kyoto on 4th day, when is the best time for me to activate the pass? Can I use the JRP for the train and bus in Tokyo too?

Hi there,

The JR Pass covers local JR trains around Tokyo as well, such as travel to Disney Land/Sea. The most expensive travel however is to Kyoto, Osaka and back to Tokyo. Be sure to use the JR Pass for these routes, from there anything extra is a nice bonus.
