I have the JR Pass. Can it be used to travel from Kyoto to Kumamoto and then Kumamota to Tokyo using a bullet train? I see the Nozomi travels that line, but I know that I cannot use the JR pass for that line. Is there another train that travels the same line?

Hi there,
Yes, you can use the Hikari Shinkansen between Tokyo - Shin-Osaka and then the Sakura Shinkansen to Kumamoto.
