Hi
I am travelling from Matsumoto via Nagano to Yudanaka on 13 Apr (Sat). I wish to take the tourist train Ltd Express Yukemuri Nonbiri (13.03) from Nagano to Yudananka (14.15). I will be using the 5 day JR East Pass (Nagano, Niigata) from Matsumoto.

  1. Do I need to make reservation and where?
  2. Is this covered by the JR Pass? If not, how to pay for this section?

Hi Sue,

1.) No, you can buy a ticket on Nagano station.

2.) I'm afraid not, a normal full fare ticket is required.
