We are planning to arrive at Narita on April and we are planning to visit several cities in Japan (for 2 weeks): and we plan to have an intinerary like this: Narita => Kyoto => Shirakawago => Alpine Route => Tokyo => Hokkaido (Sapporo, Furano, Otaru, etc.) => Tokyo. Will JR Pass suitable for our need? And is it possible for us to use the JRPass for local trains and bus in both Hokkaido and Honshu?

Hi there,
Yes, a JR Pass would be very cost-efficient with this route. Especially when you add travel to Hokkaido. You can also use the pass for travel on local JR trains within Hokkaido and Honshu.
Please note that the bus to Shirakawago is not included in the JR Pass.
Kind regards,
Daniel
