I confuse which JR … I should buy!
My travel plan is
Day 2 Ueno o Kawaguchiko by Fuji excursion
Day 4 Ueno use Shinkansen to TAKAYAMA
Day 7 Takayama to Toyama
Day 10 Shinkansen back to Tokyo
So which is best budget for 4days travel,
Please recommend which JR pass or Jr wide pass ..I should buy

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is best to purchase your tickets individually, as I believe that this would be your most cost-effective option. Bear in mind that neither the JR Pass nor the Tokyo Wide Pass will fully cover your itinerary, so if you were to purchase one the JR Pass would be your better option as it would cover travel to Toyama/Takayama and back, which would be the most expensive portion of your trip. This does mean that you'd have to get a bus ticket from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko.

Kind regards,

Alexis

Thank you so much , I understand what you mean …then thinking about buy&start using the JR pass 7 days during ending of trip ( this might be pay cheaper for Shinkansen round trip tokyo /toyama ) and bus in town !!

🙏
