I will be travelling to Japan shortly and I will be visiting Awara located in Fukui. Which train routes do I need to take from Narita Airport to Awara? And will purchasing a JR Pass be useful for me? It would be of extreme help if you could answer this query. Thank you so much.

The best timing will depend on when you travel, I recommend using Navi time and enable the JR Pass search fuction.
This will help you find the best route. It likely will be Narita Airport -> Tokyo Station -> Hokuriku Shinkansen to Kanazawa -> Ltd. express to Awara. A JR Pass will be useful if you make a return trip.
