Hi,
we just booked Japan Rail Green Car passes from March 23 -April 5, 2024.
We are a travel group of 4 people (2 couples) and do a round trip from Tokyo - Hiroshima/Miyajima - Uno/Naoshima - Kyoto - Hakone - Tokyo.
We want to use Shinkasen Trains and are wondering if we can reserve seats online in advance?
Also, where can we check train schedules in advance?

Hi there,
Train seats can only be reserved after you've activated the exchange order for the JR Pass once you are in Japan. At the moment, you can only reserve seats online for JR-East trains (this includes trains leaving a JR East station and entering a different region, e.g. Tokyo - Kyoto).
The timetables can be found on the [Navitime]https://japantravel.navitime.com/en/area/jp/route/result?start=00001756&goal=00002397&start_name=Kyoto&goal_name=Hiroshima) website - I recommend the app too!
