We have a stop to Haneda for two hours going to Sapporo. We are planning to get the pocket wifi in Haneda 2nd floor, and we just want to know if we have to go out of the airport to get the wifi and go back...do we still need to get through security check?

Hi there,
Yes, the Wi-Fi pick-up is land side, so you'll have to clear security - note that the WiFi is in the International Terminal.
