We just want to make a trip by train from Tokyo Takayama Kyoto and Osaka…can I purchase train tickets by online or direct at the station?

Hi there,
We do not sell single train tickets through www.jrpass.com, you can buy them online for example through SmartEx app.
Or at any JR station or ticket window.

You could get an IC card, such as Suica to make it easier.
Such as for local trains and transport around Tokyo.
