Shenjuku station to Kyoto

Hi, we have the JR pass and will be travelling from Shenjuku JR station and going to Kyoto. Can we go directly to Kyoto from Shenjuku Station or do we need to transfer? Thanks for your help.

Hi,
You must transfer to Shinagawa Stn to catch the bullet train. Just take the JR Yamanote Line to Shinagawa to use your pass the whole way.
