Hello,
Daniel would you please recommend me how should I travel considering I will land in Tokyo and would like to see Fuji (can I walk up all the way in one day?), Kyoto, Hiroshima and Okinawa, then returning to Tokyo and flying back to Europe? This trip is just sightseeing for 15 days starting in mid May. Also can I purchase the JR pass after I land in Tokyo’s airport or is there any benefit to buy JR pass online?
Thank you in advance for your tips and advice!

Hi there!

That's a lot of travel to pack in 15 days. Personally, I'd look at taking the train down from Tokyo to Kyoto, Hiroshima and further. It is really cool to go down to Kagoshima in Kyushu and use a ferry from there to Okinawa. You could then fly back from there to Tokyo.

The JR Pass can be purchased in Japan, but we recommend doing so ahead of time, as the price is up to 20% lower.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
