Hey there, I’ve got flights for the 22nd of April, however I don’t have a JR Pass yet as my tourist visa was approved just yesterday.
That means that I only have the next three days to buy the JR Pass but I don’t know how long will the delivery take.
Few questions then,
Is it possible to buy the JR Pass now and use any other documentation such as ID or Receipt of purchase to claim the pass at the airport?
Or
Could I buy the JR Pass at Narita Airport?
Hi there,
Given the short time frame, your best option would be to buy the pass upon arrival.
This does cost a little more and can be done at major stations like Narita and Tokyo station.
