Can I use my JR PASS ON TOZAI LINE

Hi there,
Because the Tozai Line is a privately-owned metro line, the JR Pass will not be valid on it and you'll need to purchase some kind of prepaid travel card such as a SUICA or a PASMO if you plan on travelling on it or anywhere else on the Tokyo metro that isn't the Yamanote Line, as this is covered by the JR Pass.
