I am planning a 10 day trip to Japan this June. Could you please check the itinerary and see if the order of the destinations are appropriate and reasonable. We have travelled to Japan a couple of times and familiar with buses, trams, and subways.
Tokyo (3 days)
Hakodate (2 days)-Beginning JR Pass
Otaru?
???
Sapporo (3 days)
Could you help us by filling the two cities (or one) between Hakodate and Sapporo?

You can travel directly from Hakodate to Sapporo, there are some very good stops along the way.
Think of:
- Lake Toya
- Nobori Betsu
- Onuma park
All are worth a visit.
