Hi,
So sorry for the repeated questions! But I’m arriving Tokyo on April 8th staying for a few days then heading to Kyoto and Osaka for few days then back to tokyo for another two days. From what I read the jr rail pass covers these cities but I’m confused on which trains I can take. Does it cover the bullet trains? Not just the subway trains, correct?

Thank you for your time.
Maria

Hi Maria,

Yes, you can use the Bullet trains with the JR Pass. You can use the bullet train directly from Tokyo station to Kyoto station, it's very convenient.

Hope this helps :)
Daniel
