I am travelling from 3rd december to 10th december. I would want to visit the cities from tokyo to kyoto then from kyoto to toyama and back from toyama to tokyo. Does all the rails for these cities is covered under japan rail pass? If possible where can i check the schedule of the trains. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there,

Yes, the JR Pass covers all these trips and would help you make savings - compared to normal rail tickets - at the same time.

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
